New integration enables seamless audio and video workflows over standard networks, reinforcing BirdDog’s commitment to interoperable AV-over-IP solutions
BirdDog, a pioneer in IP video technology, today announced the integration of Dante AV-H across its X Series camera lineup (excluding X5), MAX, and BirdDog Connect, marking a significant step forward in the evolution of unified AV-over-IP workflows.
Building on years of innovation in network-based video, BirdDog continues to push what’s possible over standard IT giving users the freedom to design systems that are more flexible, scalable, and easier to deploy.
With Dante AV-H, BirdDog cameras and Connect enable high-quality, low-bandwidth video over standard networks, fully integrated into existing Dante environments. Devices can be discovered, routed, and managed through familiar Dante tools, with audio and video unified on a single infrastructure while remaining independently controllable.
The result is a more scalable, IT-friendly approach to AV that simplifies deployment, works with existing systems, and adapts easily to real-world environments. As the lines between audio and video continue to disappear, this integration positions BirdDog at the center of that transition—helping drive a more connected, more adaptable future for AV.
