The X5 Ultra Black is a current-generation PTZ camera built around a Sony 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor, delivering 4K60 / 1080p60 output with a 20x optical zoom and NDI® | HX2 and HX3, 12G-SDI, dual HDMI, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, and USB-C UVC connectivity. This is an active product in the BirdDog lineup — fully supported, firmware-updated, and backed by a global 12-month factory warranty.
It carries everything the X Series is known for: the iconic Halo tally visible from any, dual e-ink displays for at-a-glance camera identification, 49mm filter thread for gels and NDs, and full compatibility with BirdDog Cam Control for AI auto-tracking and colour shading at no extra cost. The built-in NDI® | HX decoder outputs to both HDMI outputs simultaneously — confidence monitoring and return feeds over a single cable, no extra hardware required. PoE+ over Ethernet keeps cabling clean. Every advertised feature works, and works demonstrably.
This unit is ex-demo. It has been used for demonstration purposes and may show minor cosmetic imperfections — marks, light scuffs, or wear consistent with careful professional handling. Functionality is unaffected. It has been tested and verified prior to sale, and ships complete with all original packaging and accessories.
