What You’re Getting
The P4K is a broadcast-grade PTZ built around a 1-inch back-illuminated Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor, delivering true UHD capture with the kind of light sensitivity you’d expect from a sensor of that size. It outputs 4K up to 30fps and HD up to 60fps, paired with a 12x optical zoom and Sony’s Super Resolution Zoom for extended reach when needed.
For connectivity, it’s designed squarely for production environments: full-bandwidth NDI over Ethernet with PoE+, plus HDMI and dual SDI outputs for traditional baseband workflows. If your pipeline is built around NDI or hybrid IP/SDI infrastructure, the P4K drops in without adapters, compromises, or additional encoding hardware.
In operation, it behaves like a proper production camera rather than a conferencing device. The camera supports genlock for multi-camera sync, embedded audio over SDI, HDMI, and NDI, and standard VISCA control over IP or serial. With a large sensor, precision optics, and full-bandwidth NDI rather than NDI|HX, the P4K is built for live broadcast, studios, and environments where image quality matters as much as network flexibility.

The P4K is sold as a short-run, final-sale product. It ships with a Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) warranty only — if it arrives non-functional, we’ll make it right. Beyond that, there is no extended factory warranty, no ongoing support commitment, and no firmware updates. What you see is what you get, and what you get is a camera that does exactly what it says — no more, no less.
This is the right camera if you need to:
- Stretch a live event production budget across a larger camera count
- Stand up a fleet of reliable PTZ cameras for a venue, touring rig, or hybrid event setup
- Add NDI and SDI coverage without paying current-generation prices
